Labor Day Weekend 2019 Near Chattanooga, TN

Can you believe that it is almost Labor Day! As summer comes to an end, take some time to get together with family and friends before everyone gets caught up in their fall schedules. • 5K for FCA – Sign up for this run and help support a great cause, the Chattanooga Fellowship of Christian Athletes ministry. This 5K race will take place on Monday, September 2nd. Registration is open until August 29, so be sure to get it on your calendar! The more runners, the better!
• Labor Day Free BBQ Fundraiser – Who doesn’t love free food? Not only will you get to enjoy some free and delicious food, but you will also get to meet some amazing people. Donations are welcome as the Union Gospel Mission has a goal of $5,000! Stop by Mapel Street Biscuit Company and see what it’s all about!
• Station Street Wine and Whiskey Festival – Stop by Station Street on Labor Day Weekend and enjoy whiskey tastings, wine tastings, concerts, afterparties and more! This is a perfect social event to visit and meet new people in the area. This event will be going on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1. Guests must be 21 or older to attend!
